So it was 2018 and i just had my final exams of 12th grade and now i was waiting for results and ofcourse i had to choose any major for my career and for the rest of my life, My folks had alot of expectations from me. The day came, result was announced and i failed in one subject (Maths).
Now i had to wait for one year to get addmission in university and i also had to prepare for my subject that i failed so first thing first i had to prepare and pass the exam so i gave the exam and passed it (Hurrayy!). Now 8–10 months were remaining and i had nothing to do. I used to workout, hangout with friends and spend my day almost doing nothing and that made my parents worried.
My Dad pushed to me learn something i had no idea of what i wanted to do. Now because i lost hope even though i passed exam and i just wanted something easy and comfartable but my Dad wanted me to get addmission in computer science and then he said i need to attened a bootcamp so i should invest my time in learning something that will benefit me in future and help me in my degree. To be honest i really didn’t even wanted to do the computer science. I just went to bootcamp to just show my parents that im doing something and that changed my life!
I started off with wordpress some drag and drop and i liked it alot but now i was completely into it. I wanted to learn more about tech and i heard that software is developed with code and code is written in a language and its called programming language. I figured out somehow that i need to learn programming language so i left bootcamp because it was worthless they weren’t teaching much and i started googling and found bucky’s videos and taught myself c++.
I faced alot of problems because i got stuck i worked on one single concept for days trying to understand it and making sure that it was clear in my mind and then this hard work paid off and i got c++ done. Now i wanted to learn how to make web apps cause i heard these softwares are pretty popular and i figured out javascript is used in web development along with html and css and i started learning these three languages.
Again i faced alot of problems and got over them and solving each problem made my concept more stronger i learned alot of tech and became FullStack Developer after that i started freelancing got some projects and then there was time when i thought to just leave the project and i had thoughts that i wont be able to do it and this is beyond my skillset but i kept going and somehow i got it done. Yet here i am writing this article and you might be wondering that i havent given you 4 top tips and tricks to be a better developer instead i shared my own boring story right?
Conclusion:
The reason behind sharing all of this is only to make you understand one simple thing that you need to be a developer and be a better developer is to not give up and practice what you learn and the only thig matters is that what your direction and dont worry about your speed or your level just keep going on the right direction and sooner or later you’ll be there. Good Luck!
